The Things I Love

The things I love in life,

is life itself.

We are a miracle.

My children each one unique and special,

their hugs, kisses, and smiles that make my day.

My books rich in adventure,

they transport me into the lives of wonderful characters and places.

The smile of kindred friends.

Dark coffee and it's wonderful aroma,

that wakens me.

Chocolate that enriches my life,

it brings a smile to my face.

Writing in my car, at the park,

in the quiet moments of the day.

Music that feeds my soul with peace.

Family for their strength, laughter,

and endless conversations at the table.

Those are the things I love.
